i recently stayed at a lovely historical inn in reading and was pleasantly surprised at how much it exceeded my expectations. the food was exceptional, especially the lamb shank, and the service was friendly. the charming decor gave it a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The room was cozy with a comfy bed, private bathroom, and a flat-screen TV. I loved the bathroom amenities like shampoo and body soap. They had an electric kettle for tea and coffee. Complimentary biscuits. Breakfast included a delicious veggie shakshuka that I still crave! The staff were super helpful and made settling in easy. We even got help with our bags when we arrived.

The charming decor of the Bull Inn gave me a delightful sense of nostalgia, making it feel like a warm hug from my childhood. Each detail added to the quaint atmosphere that I simply adored.

More accessible parking options would be helpful.

bull inn has a fantastic 'olde world' feel. we stayed in the standard double room, and it was just right for us. the decor made it very homely. The staff were super friendly. we were able to drop our bags before check-in, which was a massive help! the breakfast was excellent with a delicious veggie shakshuka.

Charming stay with great food

Had a lovely stay! Our room was super comfy and cozy. Dinner from the fixed price menu was a pleasant surprise, so tasty! The staff were really friendly and added to the nice vibe. Just a bit noisy at night which was kinda annoying, but it didn’t ruin the experience. The outdoor dining area was a nice touch.
